A tribute to the providential «Mother Nature» reflects the quintessence and expression of Guatemalan rums

Tierra madre, tribute to the providential «Mother nature» reflects the excellence of the guatemalan rums. This region is particularly favourable to the cultivation of sugar cane, with a temperate climate and volcanic soils that give the cane juices a perfect match between elegance and tonicity.

The ageing in oak barrels at high altitude, brings a slow maturation of the brandies which contributes to the balance that makes Tierra Madre a great rum, fruity, honeyed, with delicate woody notes.

TASTING NOTE

View: Brilliant dress, luminous and deeply golden colour. Fat rum.

Nose: Nose of ripe white fruits and honey. The alcohol is tender and perfectly melted, it reveals cedar wood scents and sherry wines after aeration.

Taste: Full-bodied, sweet and peppery structure, where we feel notes of pepper gray, pink berries and accents of elderberry buds. It leaves a nice mineral and tonic length.

TASTING TIPS:

Tierra Madre can be enjoyed chilled, on ice for amateurs, or with gourmet cocktail to highlight its spicy, honeyed or chocolate notes.

About Island Signature Collection

With four cuvées from Mauritius, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic and Guatemala, the colorful Island Signature collection reveals rums of great freshness that express the uniqueness of their terroir of origin.

In the greatest French tradition, each of these Grands Crus is the fruit of a complex blend coming from different distilleries and thus revealing the organoleptic cartography of the main origins of rum.

All rums in the Island Signature Collection feature a particularly complex blend. This «French Touch» that we claim is the secular know-how, making the reputation of France in alcohol in general and in rums in particular.
